The U23 of KV Mechelen have done a great job in their battle to win this season's title. They proved to be much stronger than Roeselare by winning with a convincing 5 - 0.
It was 19-year-old Augustijns who opened the scoring for KV Mechelen after only 4 minutes of playing by nodding in the corner of Zeroual perfectly. Afterwards, KV Mechelen scored another 4 goals and defended its leading position in the classification. At the moment, the team shares its the first place with OH Leuven.
