This Autumn, it will be my seventh year with Telenet Fidea Lions, so I pretty know the team inside and out. The good vibe I feel in this team is clearly paying off. Hence, the contract extension is a logical result”, Toon said in a press release of the team.
“I perfectly know who to turn to if I have any specific questions. I get the full support of the team managers - being Karen, Sven and Kris - who all are in close contact with my current coach, Tim. Also the fact that I get along really well with my teammates is very important. All those aspects together create an environment in which I can perform at my best."
"During my cyclocross career, I was already able to win one World Cup and two out of three championships so far. My goal is to fill in the gaps on my palmares. I’m definitely not done with cyclocross yet and still have many ambition to keep my focus fully on the field.”
